You will fall in love with this carefully thought out modern layout completely gut renovated in 2019. This private house has 3 bedrooms and 3 private ensuite bathrooms. No sharing! The second floor has 2 separate bedrooms with private connecting full bathrooms. 1 full size, and 1 queen size. The third floor greets you with a skylight beaming plenty of natural light, a full size bed, and a private connecting full bathroom. The living area is equipped with a 65” television, that includes DirectTV stream, and more. Did I mention high speed internet? Got that too! Fully stocked kitchen, featuring stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, a beautiful marble backsplash, washer & dryer, and full size table & chair seating for six. Don’t want to stay inside?, Off of the kitchen outside is a brand new back deck, with full outdoor dining table, and a sitting lounge area. You can still smell the fresh cut of clean natural wood! There is also a barbecue for grilling year round. Perfect for unwinding after a long day of work, sightseeing activities, or a pre-game warm up!

We have added a trundle bed to the third floor that is not pictured. So the third floor has a double and two twins beds ★ NO PETS ALLOWED ★ We love those little (and not so little) furry bundles of joy. Sadly, our home is not suitable to accommodate them. ★ NO SMOKING INSIDE ★ Please refrain from smoking inside the home! Any smoking evidence will result in a fee for Oder removal, Duct Cleaning, and furniture cleaning. ★ NO PARTIES/EVENTS ★ We kindly ask you to treat our home as your own to preserve its pristine condition for future guests and your return visits. ★ We DO NOT allow cooking with strong aromatic foods ★ such as curry or fish fry, as our guest turnover doesn't allow time to properly remove the smell. We do not have a designated area for this type of cooking on-premises. Guests who violate this rule will be subject to an additional cleaning fee of $250 or more. Important: Before you arrive, you will be asked to choose between a damage deposit or a damage waiver through third-party provider Truvi. They will contact you via email and/or text to complete the process. Please do so prior to arriving at the property to enable a quick and easy check-in.

The Mexican War Streets gets its name after generals and battles of the Mexican-American War. Some of the architecture dates back to, and around, the 1850s and is one of the highlights of this neighborhood. Architecture styles include; Romanesque, Second Empire, Italianate, and Greek Revival. This was one of the nicest Airbnbs that I have stayed in. The 3 bedrooms/ 3 bathrooms was such a luxury- we all had our own private space. I took the third floor loft which I loved- tons of natural light, but may be tight for someone over 6' as the ceilings were angled (the rest of the house had high ceilings). The bathrooms and kitchen, well actually the whole house was immaculately clean. The neighborhood was VERY quiet and walkable. No safety concerns. Free parking in a lot across the street with permission (Michael relayed who to contact). Lots of restaurants, cafes, museums within walking distance- Downtown was about a 15 min walk. Pittsburgh is a really interesting city with lots to do and cool neighborhoods to explore. If we were to visit again, would definitely stay at Michael's in the Mexican War Streets neighborhood!

I really liked Michael's place, and would absolutely stay again. The property was fairly represented by the listing - it matched the photos very well, and the descriptions were fair. Our family of 4 had more than enough space. Indeed, I think this space would work for a little larger family than us, or 3 couples on a couples trip. Unit was clean. Michael was proactive with communication and responsive to questions. The house rules were reasonable and easy to follow. I will confess I was a little concerned about parking, but that fear was imagined. We stayed for 4 days and never had a single issue with parking. We did cook a meal in the unit and the kitchen was well supplied. My only cautionary note is (and it is disclosed in the listing), but you'll need to navigate stairs to enjoy this space, so if mobility is an issue, this may not be the place for you (indeed, the whole neighborhood would be a challenge).
